PROJECT SUMMARY
The multi-phase landscape renovation project at Mission Park aimed to transform the residential community into a vibrant neighborhood with accessible amenities. The work included the development of a master plan for the overall neighborhood with distinct amenity spaces and intentional multi-modal circulation. From the master plan, a series of site projects were implemented, including the New Whitney Streetscape Pilot Project, which included repairs to existing and new waterproofing on the parking structure and surface restoration. The pilot project was completed in 2015. Two subsequent projects – at New Whitney Street and the Neville Building – included streetscape improvements, playground and splash pad design, new plaza spaces, and renewed vehicular and parking layouts. These were completed in 2016 and 2017.
