PROJECT SUMMARY

A portion of the Towpath Trail was designed to connect to the portion of the Towpath Trail CSS had designed as part of the Innerbelt Bridge Project in Cleveland, OH. The design team collaborated with the Tremont neighborhood, abutters and other stakeholders to create a corridor that works to transition the gradient of sub-urban to urban conditions. The path was integrated into the neighborhood of Tremont, with overlooks, outdoor seating, small parklets, re-use of materials, and interpretive/art elements. The trail has become a community resource for everyone.
