PROJECT SUMMARY
Raleigh Ironworks is a 19-acre mixed-use campus centered around two historic buildings that once housed the Peden Steel Company’s steel mill and warehouse. The site was reimagined into a vibrant community hub, combining office, retail, and residential spaces. Key amenities include a pavilion deck, pedestrian promenades, outdoor eateries, an interactive plaza with a slide, micro-gathering spaces, and a courtyard inside the Double Gable building. The design honors the site's history with a material palette featuring weathered steel, wood, and industrial graphics. Emily contributed as a landscape architect at Stewart, overseeing the landscape design’s construction.
