PROJECT SUMMARY
The Neponset River Greenway was designed following the Master Plan completed in early fall 2006 for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The project consists of a multi-use pathway system along the Neponset River, a bridge crossing, and connections to parks and open space. The work includes the layout of a primary pathway, canopy walk, two bridge designs, site plantings and furniture and access to the water. The trail construction was completed in early fall 2017.
